Acupuncture is a noninvasive form of treatment that promotes natural healing and well being. It is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been around over 5,000 years. It can enhance the immune system, support physical, mental, and emotional health. Acupuncture is a safe and effective way to treat a wide variety of medical conditions. Acupuncture recognizes a subtle energy system by which Qi (energy, life force) is circulating along a network of channels, or ‘Meridians’. Along those Meridians lie the acupuncture points, and when an acupuncture needle is inserted, it is the Qi that is affected. The Chinese have compared the flow of Qi through the meridian system to water irrigating the land: feeding, nourishing and sustaining the substance through which it flows.

Cupping is a traditional method of treatment used in the East as well as the West. In China, cups are usually made of glass or bamboo. There are also plastic cups with a suction pump to create a vacuum. The skin is then drawn up to the cup. Cups may also be moved up and down the skin, mostly back area. Cupping is often used to help treat and eliminate colds, flu, pains and aches, asthma and lung conditions, arthritis and overall help with injuries alike.

It involves the injection of Procaine (also known as Novocain), a common local anesthetic, into various but very specific areas. Neural Therapy is based on the theory that trauma can produce long-standing disturbances in the electrochemical function of tissues. Among the types of tissues affected by trauma include scars, nerves or a cluster of nerves called ganglions. A correctly administered Neural Therapy injection can often instantly and lastingly resolve chronic long standing illness and chronic pain.

Gua Sha is a healing form of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is often referred to as ‘scraping’, coining or spooning, as a tool to ‘scrape’ the skin is used. It is a very therapeutic method to help bring blood to the area and therefore invigorate blood, release ‘sha’ or ‘evil’ from within, and help heal dis-ease. Similar to cupping, it is used to alleviate pain, eliminate colds, flus, fevers, and wheezing, lower inflammation, and promote well-being.

Based on assessment and diagnosis, nutrition consultation and supplements recommendation are accordingly given. Should a patient only desire these without receiving acupuncture, it is also available.

Reiki is a Japanese technique that utilizes the laying on hands to help promote healing. It helps balance our life force energy, or Qi, and help alleviate stress, calm the mind, reduce anxiety and overall balance and tune our bodies. Reiki is made of two words: Rei, which means the higher power, and Ki, which means life force, also known as Qi. During a session patients can relax and fall asleep, waking up feeling more balanced and calm.

According to patient’s needs and presentation, ordering a panel of blood work to detect any nutrient deficiencies, CBC, lipids, autoimmune diseases, thyroid disease, anemia and other blood disorders is available case by case. 

Dr Hadar Elbaz has been working with Elite athletes, Triathletes and overall chronic and acute injuries throughout her career. Once she analyses the root cause of pain, Dr Hadar uses a more aggressive form of Acupuncture, along with cupping, herbal linaments and other modalities, and enables to bring the body back into a healthier, normal state.
